During the secondment visit of Aleš Rapuc to the Advanced Materials Group (ČVUT, Prague, Czech Republic) he received training on Atomic Force Microscope for atomic stick-slip measurements. As case study, CVD deposited WS2 samples were chosen. Besides an in-depth knowledge of the AFM instrument, his visit will also produce a joint paper currently in preparation. An example of the performed measurements is given in the figure, where lateral force versus position is reported.
